Abstract: 

The advent of technology and modern techniques of communication is of the present world characteristics and its effect on development and improvement of countries is to the extent that it is called the silent revolution. Internet as a media and information technology as an industry are of great importance. The issue of electronic cities and villages which are the subset of information society thought has been raised in the world in the recent years. Today, development and improvement of communities and organizations are due to the emergence of proper beds and the most important of them is information and communications technology, regardless of concerns about the location and their distance with centers of civilization, capital and equipment, it is possible by relying only on their knowledge and management abilities. Different countries, consistent with their present conditions, have taken new policies in the field of ICT development in rural areas; Iran along with many of the leading countries of the world has taken actions towards rural ICT development and by signing the Declaration of Principles of the Information Society in Geneva is committed to being of great influence in the structure of information society. Since 31.54% of the population of the country live in villages and a huge capital of the country lies in villages and since villages and villagers are the basic resources of national production and economic growth in any society, it can be inferred that taking advantage of information and communication technology (ICT) leads to the empowerment and conscious influence of this forgotten stratum in the process of rural development of the country and considering rural ICT can be of great affect in different dimensions of rural sustainable development. ICT in rural areas can be included in the concept of empowerment and empowerment may include different aspects such as education, health, marketing and trade, income, tourism, interest, etc. In this research, we tried to pay great attention to the University of Shoushtar Research Journal/ 9 importance and role of ICT in rural areas, and at the end, the village Shahkooh has been noted as a successful example in the development and application of ICT in the country. Conducting Methods of this study is descriptive, analytic and data collection is of library sort and document-based.

Abstract: 

Sustainable development establishes a framework in which environmental policies and development strategies interact each other, and in the process of economic development, the long-term environmental value and human society is taken into account. In addition, ICT is rapidly transforming all aspects of human life and there is less of a sense of our lives that have not been directly or indirectly affected by the ICT. Our studies of the previous frameworks on the effects of ICT on the goals of sustainable development show that most of them fall into two categories. There are a number of frameworks that have introduced general and high-level ICT impacts on sustainability development in the first category, and the second category refers to some specific technologies or specific SDGs. In this paper, we have proposed a framework that addresses all technologies and concerns related to ICT and all SDGs. The main objective of this framework is to show the impact and mapping between SDGs, ICT concepts and technologies, ICT concerns, and ICT development success factors that can be used directly to evaluate the growth and degradation of each of them. The ICT concerns classified into four categories and mapped by ICT technologies and concepts to sustainable development and its goals and ICT development and its concerns.

Abstract: 

ICT-based education is the application of information and communication technologies in the process of teaching and learning.Educational justice can be defined as providing equal educational opportunities for all demanders of higher education. Educational justice can be achieved by ICT-based education through; providing equal educational opportunities, increasing the access to higher education and improving the quality of education.The purpose of this research is to investigate the impact of ICT-based education on educational justice development. Therefore, the ex postfacto research method was adopted, and the statistical population covered 250 and 110 students benefitting from ICT-based and classroom-based educations, respectively.104 ICT-based and 100 classroom-based students were also randomly selected as the sample volume. Data were collected through two researcher-made questionnaires whose content validity was approved by the supervisor and consulting advisor of the research. Their reliability was calculated by Cronbach's alpha coefficient as 0.89. Descriptive statistics was used to describe the collected data, and t-test was used to test the hypotheses and investigate the difference between the groups. Collected data were analyzed by SPSS software. The analysis of the data showed that all the hypotheses of the research were confirmed with a level of confidence of 95 per cent. Research findings also revealed that ICT-based education had the highest impact on increasing access to higher education by providing the opportunity of studying at home, expanding classroom borders and facilitating studying for jobholders. Its high expenses in Iran were, however, the most important obstacle for equal educational opportunities and increasing access to higher education.

Abstract: 

Information and communication technologies are the most recent scientific achievements of mankind’s ability seems to have much to offer society and are expected to be useful in solving the problems of human society. Many around the world believe that accelerates the process of adjustment in the exchange of knowledge and information through information and communication technologies a vital role in achieving sustainable development, human resources development and will play. Nowadays, information and communication technology (ICT), as the most important factor in the development of the world is hardware. Gains resulting from the negligence of such a life are incorporated it comes in different divisions. Due to the increasing information and communication Fnavrhay ICT in cities and the rise of the information age, the need for applying this technology to achieve sustainable development is strongly felt. In this research discusses the necessity of using information technology in urban management issues in order to achieve sustainable development: social, economic, environmental and physical towns mentioned. Documents and content analysis is a research method and Strategic SWOT descriptive model to evaluate internal and external opportunities and threats of the use of ICT in cities is discussed. Of this research is that the coordination of information and communication technologies lack of infrastructure development with other programs and provides technical and socio-economic impacts of sustainable development will be a lot.

Abstract: 

This research is based on the feasibility study of using ICT in curriculum development in higher education. The possibility of using ICT in the process of curriculum development in higher education has been researched from the view point of three important and concerned groups with the subject namely professors, curriculum planners and the ICT professionals. The main purpose of this research is to answer to the question that in which fields and to what extent we can use the ICT's new development in curriculum development in higher education?This research is descriptive. A questionnaire is designed in six section using Lickert scale with three options. The findings show that three mentioned groups do not have much difference in their views about the importance in application of ICT in curriculum development. They also believe that in many occasions, this application of ICT will create new opportunities and enhances the curriculum development in order to meet the challenges in higher education.

Abstract: 

ICT is now an integral part of the development of human societies and the Need of development is becoming more evident day by day. Considering, about a third of Iran s population live in rural areas while they are far from urban centres, creating rural ICT centres is essential for better and more suitable services to these areas. This study is analyzing the role of rural ICT on development of Angouran zone in Mahneshan city. Research method is descriptive – analytic and data collection is field method by questionnaire, and the data are analyzed by SPSS software. The aim of this survey is that what is the rural ICT centres effect on developing and welfare of the resident's. For defining this issue T test is used. The study area is with 10 villages owning ICT with 1186 households and samples are chosen by Cochran formula with the number of 206. The results show that ICT centres effect is more on welfare and comfort of villagers, and also the services are the reason of resident s satisfaction. Its justifiability is approved by Cronbach's alpha (0.752). Satisfaction of rural residents is the consequence of this study.

Abstract: 

The purpose of this research was a meta-analysis of the previously done researches on the impact of ICT on the status of teachers in order to estimate the actual effect size of the ICT on professional development of teachers. The population was all the researches on the impact of ICT on teachers in Iran, by the end of 2010. Among the researches done, nine of them having suitable characteristics for the application of meta-analysis were selected through purposeful sampling method. The research instrument was a check list for the selection of researches from technical and methodological aspects. The preferential meta-analysis model consists of the mixed approach of Hunter and Smith. Also, Cohen’s approach was used for the interpretation of research findings. The findings showed that the use of ICT had significant impact on the professional development of teachers. In addition, the degree of effect of the ICT on professional development of teachers was 0.387 which is above average based on the interpretation indexes.
